Gus Lockstein

January 9, 1947 – August 18, 2017

Gus was born in Oconto Falls on January 9, 1947, a son of the late Gustav Lockstein, Sr. and Joyce Framness. He attended area schools and enlisted in the US Navy in 1965. Following his honorable discharge in 1972; Gus was married to Sandra (François) on September 14, 1974. Together they had three children and had also hosted two foreign-exchange students.

Gus worked for Patz Company and later for United Healthcare. He was an avid computer programmer and had also received a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences.

In addition to his wife, Sandra, of almost 43 years, Gus is survived by his son Gustav Lockstein, III of Pembine, his daughter Julie Lockstein of Green Bay, his brothers John, Sr. (Jean) Lockstein of Gillett and Roger (Cathy) Lockstein of Gillett and his sisters Susan (Jim) Zabel of Lena and Janet (Walter) Bohm of Krakow. He also leaves a “grandson” Tyrone as well as many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Gus was preceded in death by a still born son, Troy as well as his godson, John Lockstein, Jr.

Clarence Rusch

August 19, 1938 –

Clarence Rusch, 78, Brown Deer, WI, formerly of Gillett, was born on August 19, 1938 to Helmuth and Genevive (Lambrecht) Rusch in the Town of Gillett. He lived on the family dairy farm until his retirement. Clarence moved to Milwaukee and lived there until his passing. He was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Town of Gillett and later attended St. John’s Lutheran in Gillett where he played dartball. Clarence also enjoyed auctions and antiquing.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Gloria. He is survived by one brother Louis (the late Martha), a nephew James, 2 nieces Holly and Catrina and their families as well as many relatives and friends.

At date and time is pending for Visitation, Services, and Burial.

Clara Edna Rank

March 04, 1923 – June 20, 2017

Clara E. Rank, age 94, Oconto Falls, formerly of Gillett, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 following a period of declining health.

She was born in Oconto Falls on March 4, 1923, a daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Novak) Chlopek. Clara was married to Marvin E. Rank on June 21, 1952. Together they owned and operated a farm in the Town of Green Valley until retiring to Gillett. Clara was an avid gardener and loved decorating her home inside and out at Christmas time. She also loved to cook, bake and sew.

Clara is survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Marvin, seven brothers and sisters: Sophie, Walter, Edward, Charles, Stanley, Caroline and Helen.

Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 9 to 10:45 AM at ST. JOHN’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (127 Garden Avenue, Gillett, WI 54124). A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with the Reverend David Funk officiating. Interment will follow in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.

The family sends heartfelt thanks to the staff of The Cottages for creating a family atmosphere that Clara so much enjoyed. The kind and compassionate care of Clara will never be forgotten. Special thanks also to Heartland Hospice for keeping Clara comfortable. For those wishing, memorials are appreciated to St. John’s Catholic Church at the above address.

Georgia M. Tuell

Georgia M. Tuell

February 10, 1920 – June 13, 2017

Georgia M. (Stubbs) Tuell, 97, formerly of the Town of Green Valley, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Oconto Falls where she had been a resident the last 5 years.

Georgia was born in Noblesville, Indiana on February 10, 1920, a daughter of the late Walter and Pearl (Lees) Stubbs. She was married to Hubert Tuell in Crystal Falls, MI on September 3, 1937 and together they raised eight children. In earlier years, Georgia attended Tabor United Methodist Church in Gillett. She was an avid gardener of both flowers and vegetables and also enjoyed all types of crafts. She was an accomplished cake decorator and over the years, she decorated many cakes for family and friends including wedding cakes for her children and grandchildren. Georgia loved her family deeply and will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her children: Allen (Janeva) Tuell of Quitman, TX, George (Rita) Tuell of Green Bay, Wilma (Wayne)Roskom of Cecil, Virginia “Jinx” (Leroy) Nevins of Benson, AZ, Oliver “Buck” (Holly) Tuell of Green Bay, Myra (the late Jessie) Soapes of Mountain Home, AR and Melody June (Charles) Grutza of Green Bay. Georgia also leaves a sister, Alice Weller of Mountain, 24 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Hubert, a son, Donald, her sister Pauline Lundeen and two infant grandchildren.

Friends and relatives may call on the family from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, June 19, 2017 at LEGACY FUNERAL CHAPELS (108 E. Main Street, Gillett). Visitation continues Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at RIVERVIEW ALLIANCE CHURCH (628 N. Main Street, Oconto Falls). A funeral service will be held at 11 AM with Reverend Kevin Kuhn officiating. Final rest will be in Wanderer’s Rest Cemetery in Gillett. A luncheon will follow at Tabor United Methodist Church.

The family sends special thanks to Atrium Post Acute Care of Oconto Falls, as well as to Unity Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Georgia. For those wishing, memorials are appreciated to Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee.
