Gus Lockstein

January 9, 1947 – August 18, 2017

Gus was born in Oconto Falls on January 9, 1947, a son of the late Gustav Lockstein, Sr. and Joyce Framness. He attended area schools and enlisted in the US Navy in 1965. Following his honorable discharge in 1972; Gus was married to Sandra (François) on September 14, 1974. Together they had three children and had also hosted two foreign-exchange students.

Gus worked for Patz Company and later for United Healthcare. He was an avid computer programmer and had also received a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences.

In addition to his wife, Sandra, of almost 43 years, Gus is survived by his son Gustav Lockstein, III of Pembine, his daughter Julie Lockstein of Green Bay, his brothers John, Sr. (Jean) Lockstein of Gillett and Roger (Cathy) Lockstein of Gillett and his sisters Susan (Jim) Zabel of Lena and Janet (Walter) Bohm of Krakow. He also leaves a “grandson” Tyrone as well as many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Gus was preceded in death by a still born son, Troy as well as his godson, John Lockstein, Jr.
