Veronica “Bonnie” Lucille Fischer passed away peacefully in her home the morning of October 19, 2021, at the age of 90. Bonnie spent the last chapter of her life enjoying the “Lake Life” in the house her Husband and family help build many years ago. She loved to garden and to have her flower gardens always looking beautiful. Faithfully saying her rosary daily, Bonnie would find time and be seen by the locals driving her golf cart up and down the driveways, something that always bought a smile to her face. When family would come up, they would be ready for a game of 500 Rummy as she was always ready to ask, “Play a game of cards?” Nothing filled her heart more than seeing her family, and knowing they were safe and taken care of. She was proud of everything they all did and loved them all deeply.
Veronica joins in heaven her son Michael and her husband Glen. Her family lives on with her daughter Arla Fischer, her sons Eugene Simon and Michael Simon with wife Nikki Beyer-Simon and daughter Kaylee. Veronica’s daughter Kathy Stein with husband Larry Stein, their daughter Kristine Stein with husband Michael Kasprzak, and their son Adam Stein with wife Amy Stein, and their daughters Brianna, Shayna, and Claudia. Veronica’s daughter Patty Weglarz with her husband David Weglarz. Veronica’s son Rodney Fischer with wife Jeannie Fischer, their sons Danny Fischer and Jimmy Fischer with wife Drea Fischer and daughter Millie, and Rodney and Jeanie’s daughters, Nicole Fischer and son Anthony, Lindsey Fischer and daughter Aaliyah, and Katie Fischer with daughter Anabel.
Visitation will be held Saturday October 30, 2021, from 9am to 11am with a Mass of Christian burial at 11am at St John’s Catholic Church (127 South Garden Avenue Gillett, WI 54124) with Father Frances Dias officiating. Kuehl Funeral Home of Gillett is honored to assist the family.
