Randall Katchenago Sr. age 62 of Green Bay, started his journey to the spirit world on August 17, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on December 13, 1958 in Keshena Wi., son of the late Elmer and Dorthea (Newton) Katchenago .
Randall worked many years in the moving industries, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trips to the casinos. Most of all he cherished his grandchildren and spending quality time with them all.
He is survived by his wife Rosalyn, his five children: Kateri (Marques) Danforth, Randall Jr. Katchenago, Kari Katchenago, Jaime Katchenago, and Ashley Boivin, all of Green Bay; and twelve grandchildren. Randy is further survived by his siblings; Jeanne (Jacob) Nevzoroff, Gilbert Az., Barbara (Colin) Caldwell, Keshena Wi., Roxanne (Joseph) Ponfil, Keshena Wi., Yvonne (Antonio) Hernandez, Green Bay, Denise Kennedy, Green Bay, Elmer (Mae) Katchenago, Gresham Wi., Keith Katchenago, Keshena, Wi., many nieces and nephews.
Randy was also preceded in death by his parents: Elmer and Dorthea Katchenago, his siblings: Beverly, Patricia, Rhonda, John and Kateri; special nieces and nephews: Diana and Wayne Wolf, Stephanie Hill, John Holsonbach, and Jeffery Smits.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Legacy Gathering Center, 838 S. Fisk Street, Green Bay. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Legacy Gathering Center, 838 S. Fisk Street, Green Bay.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday August 21, 2021 at Legacy Gathering Center, 838 S. Fisk Street.
The family would like extend a special thank you to the Bellin cancer team, the 4th floor medical unit and Unity Hospice for the excellent care they provided. Also a special Thank You to Melinda Danforth and family for providing drumming services, the fire keepers and to St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Keshena.
