Patrick K. Gilligan “Pat”, 64, of Gillett WI passed away following a courageous battle with cancer.

Pat was born on March 31, 1957 to the late Lyle Gilligan and Lois (Vorron) Gilligan.

He attended High School at the Janesville School for the Blind. He enjoyed his drama Club and developed many wonderful friendships while going to school there.

Because of Pat’s Visual issues he did not receive a lot of employment opportunities, but Fifield’s in Gillett gave him a chance and he learned a great deal there. Then he was hired at the local canning company, which is now Seneca, he worked for them for 26 years until his illness.

Pat had a son Mark who died of childhood Leukemia and a daughter Tia who gave him five grandsons.

Pat is survived by his daughter Tia (Gilligan) Seel – Baxter; Grandchildren Mark Doering, Sevontae Baxter, S. Jon Baxter ll, Skyler Seel and Xander Seel, his sister Kathleen “Katie” Truax (Edward), four Nieces and Nephews, his best buddy Chewy, and his incredibly special friend Gail Friedman.

Pat was preceded in death by his Grandparents Bernard “Bun” and Lois Gilligan,  Charles and Irene Vorron, his parents Lyle M. Gilligan and Lois M. (Vorron) Perry, two brothers; Michael Gilligan, Thomas G. Gilligan, and his son Mark.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date. Kuehl Funeral Home is honored to assist the family.
