Lillian M. Miller, age 86, Gillett, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Woodlands of Suring. She was surrounded by family.
Lillian was born in Gillett on April 19, 1930, a daughter of the late Robert and Hattie (Mueller) Zahn. She attended local schools, and was a lifelong Gillett resident. Lillian was married to Roy Miller on June 10, 1950 and together they raised three children. She worked as a bookkeeper and was employed by Parkside Dairy from 1951 to 1979 and by Seneca Foods from 1972 until the time of her retirement in 1997. In her free time, Lillian enjoyed crocheting and working on jig saw puzzles. She will be sadly missed.
Lillian is survived by her son, Dean (Nancy) Miller and her daughters Judith (Sherban) Westenberger and Laura Beyer. She is further survived by her siblings Marvin (the late Dorothy) Zahn, Ronald (Jody) Zahn and Beatrice (James) Krause; her grandchildren: Renae (Jeff) Vollmer, Paul (Kerry) Westenberger, Kim (Joel) Klose, Jesse (Janalee) Jenerou, Amy (Kevin) Seefeldt, Zachary and Ashley Beyer. She also leaves nine great-grandchildren, other relatives and numerous friends.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Roy Miller.
Friends and relatives may call on the family on TUESDAY, January 17, 2017 at FAITH UNITED LUTHERAN CHURCH (11465 Old U, Gillett, WI 54124) from 9 to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM with Pastor John Laatsch officiating. Interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
