Kathy Gilligan

Kathleen L. (Alto) Gilligan, age 73, Gillett, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

 

Kathy was born in Waukegan, IL on August 25, 1944, one of two daughters of Runnar and Catherine (Walsh) Alto.  In earlier years, Kathy farmed and later worked as a cook at OJ’s Restaurant and as a waitress at Yancy’s Restaurant.  She eventually retired from Seneca Foods.  Kathy enjoyed trips to Wisconsin Dells to visit family and loved her dogs.  She will be sadly missed.

 

Kathy is survived by her husband, Dennis “Denny” Gilligan of Pulcifer; her daughter, DeAnne (the late Joseph) Glime of Florida; her sons: Randy (Christi) St. Louis of Oconto Falls, Greg St. Louis of Fond du Lac, Andrew (Laurie) St. Louis of Coleman, Kris St. Louis of Bonduel and Daniel (Tanya) St. Louis of Fond du Lac.  She also leaves her grandchildren: Matthew (Shelly), Kaitlyn, Laikyn, Brailyn, Hailyn, Brianna (Ian), Cassie, Ethan, Lincoln, Harrison and Arthur.  Kathy is further survived by a great-granddaughter, Alice, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jean (Ken) Hall.

 

Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5 to 6:45 PM at LEGACY FUNERAL CHAPELS (108 E. Main Street, Gillett, WI 54124).  A funeral service will follow at 7 PM with the Reverend Kent Wallace officiating.  Final rest will be at Olin Cemetery, Springville, WI.

 

The family sends special thanks to the staff and residents at Woodland Village of Gillett as well as the staff and nurses of the ICU and the 8th Floor at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
