Karen G. Wolf, age 81, a Manitowoc resident passed away early Wednesday morning May 11, 2022 at Tender Reflections, Manitowoc.

Karen was born on February 19, 1941 in Kiel, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Arnold and Margaret (Zimmerman) Pautz.  She graduated from Kiel High School with the class of 1959.  She will be remembered by many as the chef, Hostess, Piano/organ player and owner of The Diamond Inn in Hazelhurst, Wisconsin from 1984 until her retirement in 2000.  One of Karen’s favorite past times was to go for long walks on the beach in Siesta Key, Florida.

Survivors include three children: Al (Annette) Wallander, Deacon Jeff (Diane) Wallander and Steve (Stacey) Wallander, three step-children: Greg (Anne) Wolf, Heidi (Terry) Heyroth and Rachel (Paul) Amicangelo, 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, two brothers: Arnold Pautz and Donald Pautz. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive.

Karen was also preceded in death by one son: Greg and her husband; Marshal.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
