Florence (Buchholz) Wolfgram

April 09, 1921 – May 26, 2015

Florence had an unwavering faith in God. Her faith could be heard in her openly praying to the Lord in the evening. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Gillett. Over the years she became involved with church and assisted in making quilts, baking for events and folding bulletins. She passed her unconditional faith and skills onto her children. Florence looked forward to senior citizen lunches at “Over the Hill in Underhill”.

God saw the road was getting rough and hills were hard to climb, so he closed your weary eyelids and whispered, “Peace Be Thine”.

Someday we hope to meet her. Someday we know not when. To clasp her hand in the better land- Never to part again.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Leo and brother Harry “Butch” Buchholz.

She is survived by her children, Gerry (Harriet) Wolfgram; Tom (Nancy) Wolfgram; Connie (Dan) Sieverding, Lana Prusik; grandchildren, Tracie, Eric (Shana), Ryan (Christina), Kristi (Faron), Philip (Miranda); 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call from 4 P.M. to 5:30 P.M., Friday May 29th at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Gillett. Funeral service will be at 5:30 P.M. with Pastor Doreen Jeffers officiating. Internment at Wanderers Rest Cemetery will follow.

The family wishes to extend great gratitude to the staff at Meadowlands and Hospice for their continued support in her final days.
