Ellen M. Bierhals passed away on October 18, 2021, at the age of 50, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will strive to honor her memory by living their lives to the fullest.
She graduated from Valders High School with the Class of 1989.
The beach and flamingos brought Ellen the greatest joy. She was a talented painter, loved to read and spend time with her daughters. She loved to travel with her travel partner; her dog Mouse.
Ellen is survived by her daughters: Dakota and special friend, Dalton, and Madilynn, her mother and step-father: Jim and Pat (Wagner) Milligan, her father: Greg Zimmermann, two sisters and brothers-in-law: Jane (Gary) Linzmeier, and Marie (Mark) Tuma . Also nieces and nephews; Aaron Linzmeier and special friend Michelle Christman, Stephen Linzmeier, Robert (Kassie) Linzmeier, Ashley (Tim) Henneman, Sally Linzmeier, Kyle Tuma and special friend Kylee Griffin, and Kaden Tuma. She is also survived by three great nieces: Ava, Harper, and Quinn, and two great nephews: Braxton and Bryce; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Stephen and Sally Wagner, uncles; Cal Guralski, and Steve Vogel, cousins; Cassie Guralski, and Mike Vogel.
Private family services will be held at the Lendman Funeral Home & Gathering Center on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

Dear family of Ellie, I just never thought this time would come. She was so strong and fought her hardest all the way. There is now a wonderful angel in heaven looking over everyone. Ellie had a big heart full of love. Sure will miss her. Prayers for strength for all the family. Love to you all.
