Edna Miller

On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, Edna Miller of Coleman, age 94, went to be with her Lord and family. She was born January 8, 1925 to the late Edward and Emily (Drawitz) Patzer in the Town of Gillett, where she also attended school.

On February 19, 1944, she married Alvin Miller in Pound, Wisconsin. They lived in Gillett nine years and then bought a farm in Coleman. She worked on the farm with her husband. She then went to work at Coleman Products for 15 years. She also was a caretaker in her home for nine years for her nephew who was handicapped. She enjoyed her “tank gardens” and growing African Violets. Edna was a very active member of the Gillett Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons and their wives, James and Yong, Coleman, Gerald and Jane, Oconto and Kenneth and Deby, Kansas City, Missouri; a grandson, Aaron Crocker from her deceased daughter (Joyce), John Crocker; a great grandson, Justin Demers; 35 grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Edna will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Gillett Baptist Church, Town Hall Road, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am where the memorial service will take place at 11:00 am with Pastor Reggie Reinhold officiating. Internment was at the Wanderers Rest Cemetery in Gillett.
