Catherine A. Kolbeck

Catherine A. Kolbeck, age 67, a Manitowoc resident passed away early Thursday morning, November 11, 2021 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

She was born on August, 29, 1954 daughter of the late Allen and Thelma (Skattebo) Cayemberg.  Cathy graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1972.  On April 08, 2017 she married Randy (Cubby) Kolbeck in Manitowoc.  Cathy was employed as an engineering secretary at Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry until her retirement.  She liked to spend time with the family, especially on vacation.  Cathy loved to go up north to the cabin.  Cathy enjoyed socializing with her friends at the local establishments.  She was a wonderful and generous friend to all.  Cathy never missed the opportunity to call her friends and family on special occasions.  She was an avid packer, brewer and badger fan.

Survivors include: her husband; Cubby, Manitowoc, one son and daughter-in-law; Ryan and Season Haack, Manitowoc, two sisters and one brother; Carol Cayemberg, Knoxville, TN, Douglas Cayemberg, Manitowoc, Ann Cayemberg, Knoxville, TN, one brother-in-law; Mark Steeber, Kellnersville. One brother-in-law; Jeff and Joy Kolbeck, Manitowoc, two sisters-in-law; Christine and Doug Schmidt, Manitowoc, Carrie and Wally Wallander, Manitowoc.  Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive.

Cathy was also Preceded in death by: one sister; Amy (Steeber) Cayemberg, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Thomas and Connie Kolbeck, one brother-in-law; Paul Kolbeck, her beloved dog; Peaches.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU staff at Froedtert Hospital and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their care and compassion shown towards Cathy and her Family.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, (1416 Grand Ave).  The visitation will continue from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Monday November 15, 2021 at church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 15, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, (1416 Grand Ave). Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Ben Johnson with burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Manitowoc.
