Anton (Tony”) Poklinkoski, Jr., 93, passed away November 20, 2022, at his residence, surrounded by his loving sons.

Tony was born October 31, 1929 to Anton, Sr. and Rose (Pokorski) Poklinkoski in Manitowoc. He married Adeline (Wells) in 1953.  She preceded him in death, after 61 years of marriage, May 20, 2014.

Tony was drafted into the Army during the Korean War, stationed in Germany. He worked landscaping with his brother Matt for many years before owning/operating Tony’s Bar and Tony’s Welcome Inn. After leaving the tavern business, he continued working as an equipment operator, running endloaders well into his’80’s.

Tony is survived by his sons, David (Madison), Gary (Wausau) and Tom (Manitowoc).  He also survived by a sister, Alvina.  He was preceded in death by his parents Anton & Rose, his wife Adeline, and siblings, Matthew, Edward, Ann and Clarence.

Tony especially enjoyed his many fishing trips to Canada with his long-time friends, brothers and nephews. He was an avid Chicago White Sox fan.

Tony will be interred with his wife at Knollwood Memorial Mausoleum.
