Victoria Allison Aviles, 21, Green Bay unexpectedly left this world on Saturday, May 14, 2022 in Milwaukee.

She was born on February 17, 2001 in Green Bay, daughter of Natalie Hartl and Juan Aviles. Victoria (Nana) graduated from Ashwaubenon High School with the class 2019. She was recently employed with Explorium Brewpub in the third ward in Milwaukee. She loved her job and her coworkers. She was pursuing her dream of becoming a chef. She was expected to graduate in December 2022 from Fox Valley Technical College with a degree in culinary arts. Aside from her love of cooking, she loved to paint and draw. Art and music made her the happiest and brought her peace. She had a love for butterflies and tattoos. Victoria loved traveling and exploring anywhere that had a beach. She loved her wine and spending time with all of her amazing friends. She was full of life and lots of laughter. Her laughter was contagious and you would never forget it if you heard it. She was always the light in a dark room. A breath of fresh air. She would lift you up anytime you needed her. And when she loved you, she loved hard. Victoria was loving, giving and most of all had the biggest heart. She was an amazing daughter whom her parents were so proud of and all of her accomplishments in life. She was always the funniest sister and could make a joke out of anything. It was never a dull moment when she was around. Victoria could make anyone smile. She recently became an aunt to her handsome nephew Jeremiah. She loved spending time with him. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her two younger brothers, Kaden and Noah. They looked up to her. Family was important to her and she will be so missed by us all. Victoria’s life was so full of love and she will forever be in our hearts. She was one of a kind and will absolutely never be forgotten.

Survivors include her mother; Natalie Hartl (David Conley), her father; Juan (Jodi) Aviles, paternal grandmother; Madeline Delorbe, her siblings; Dominique Hartl, Alexis Aviles, Kaden Hartl, Noah Conley, Armani Hucek, Isabel Conley, Juandel Aviles, Silas Aviles, Zachary List, Madison Phillips, Zoe Peters, Bella Aviles, and Olivia Anderson, one aunt; Holly Hartl (Mike Hulchiy) two uncles; Mark Aviles (Jeana Witalk) and John Hartl, one nephew; Jeremiah Fields. Also survived by other relatives and many friends especially Emily Sackatook, Socorro Ibanez and Yolanda Ortega.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Linda and Larry Hartl, one uncle; Bob Hartl and a niece; Sophia Fields.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Legacy Gathering Center, 838 S. Fisk Street, Green Bay.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 2:00PM until 6:00PM on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Legacy Gathering Center, 838 S. Fisk Street, Green Bay.  Officiating at the service will be Deacon Mike Dabeck.

Charles P. Mahlik

With much sadness in our hearts, we announce that Chuck Peter Mahlik passed away on Sunday May 8, 2022 with his brother Bill at his side.

Chuck was Don and Jane Mahlik’s first child, born on November 2,1951 in Two Rivers during a massive snowstorm. His legendary birth may have shaped his pioneering spirit and thirst for adventure. Throughout his life he blazed trails of discovery and always took care of others coming up behind him. He was a born leader who was a mentor to many and a friend to all.

Chuck graduated from Roncalli High School in 1969 and helped lead the Jets to their first state championship. Chuck became a master plumber and founded his own business “Mahlik’s Plumbing” which he operated in the Two Rivers area for decades along with his associate Francis.  He was known for his quality work and friendly approach.

When Chuck wasn’t plumbing, he could be found socializing around town and spending time outdoors. He walked Neshotah Beach with his dog Stinker Pot in the summers; planning hunting and or fishing trips with his brothers, especially his brother Chris; biked and hiked all over the county; hunted in northern Wisconsin; but fishing was his true passion. He led his brothers on fly-in fishing trips into the Canadian wilderness, but more often than not he was out catching Walleye on Green Bay. Memories of Chuck’s radiant smile, kind heart, and contagious laugh soothe us in his absence.

Survivors include his mother Jane Mahlik and three sisters, Tricia Nelson, Marge (Jim) Erickson, and Sue (Jose) Garcia, all residing in Two Rivers. His sister-in-law, Kathy Mahlik living in Manitowoc.  Three Brothers, Dale (Peggy) Mahlik, Clintonville; Bill (Cathi) Mahlik, Fond du Lac; and Chris (Jodi) Mahlik, Marinette. And his special friend Brenda Vanness and her family residing in Mishicot. Chuck was preceded in death by his Dad and Brother; Dave.

Please celebrate Chuck’s life with us on Saturday, June 4, 2022. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. Officiating at the Mass of Christian burial will be Rev. Christian Raj.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot in Chuck’s Honor.

Karen G. Wolf

Karen G. Wolf, age 81, a Manitowoc resident passed away early Wednesday morning May 11, 2022 at Tender Reflections, Manitowoc.

Karen was born on February 19, 1941 in Kiel, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Arnold and Margaret (Zimmerman) Pautz.  She graduated from Kiel High School with the class of 1959.  She will be remembered by many as the chef, Hostess, Piano/organ player and owner of The Diamond Inn in Hazelhurst, Wisconsin from 1984 until her retirement in 2000.  One of Karen’s favorite past times was to go for long walks on the beach in Siesta Key, Florida.

Survivors include three children: Al (Annette) Wallander, Deacon Jeff (Diane) Wallander and Steve (Stacey) Wallander, three step-children: Greg (Anne) Wolf, Heidi (Terry) Heyroth and Rachel (Paul) Amicangelo, 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, two brothers: Arnold Pautz and Donald Pautz. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive.

Karen was also preceded in death by one son: Greg and her husband; Marshal.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
