William (Bill)(Smiley) Teesch, son of the late Elmer and Adeline (Wilms) Teesch, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Homestead Care Center in New Holstein.
He was a lifelong farmer, and enjoyed farming with his brothers and his dad until his dad passed away. He and his brother continued farming until they sold the farm in 1992. He continued to keep his hand in farming by hiring out for plowing and other field work jobs. He also worked with threshing crews, drove truck for the Valders Canning Company, and helped his uncle Dan Kretsch build the Valders bank. For nearly 40 years, he delivered the Lakeshore Chronicle and The Tempo, until he suffered a mild heart attack that impaired his vision.
He enjoyed playing bean bag, sheepshead with the Valders/St. Nazianz Senior card club, in addition to shaking dice, shooting the breeze, and telling jokes with his bar buddies.
Bill is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Larry (Karen) Teesch, Valders, and Augie Teesch of St. Nazianz. Also surviving are nieces, Tara Teesch, Green Bay; Travis (Dawn) Teesch, Kaukauna; and Tyler (Jodie) Teesch, Manitowoc; four great nieces and nephews; Taylor, Olivia, Cole and Xander.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant sister, Elaine, one sister; Lucille, two brothers, Lyle, and Delmar, and a sister-in-law Josephine.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in the town of Liberty on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 11:00 am. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Gregory Pope. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 am until 10:45 am, with burial to follow at Grace Cemetery.

Dennis K. Evenson entered eternal life to be with his Savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. He was born on March 17, 1941, to Bennet and Myrna (Damm) Evenson. He was the youngest of 10 children and grew up on the family farm in rural Valders. He was baptized and confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church where he was a lifetime active member. He graduated from Valders High School in 1959 and then served in the U.S. Army for two years. On December 29, 1963 he married Marlene Behnke at St. John-St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville. They were blessed with two daughters, Deborah and Gail.
Dennis was employed with Evenson Construction in his younger years and then worked at Krueger Lumber Company for 30 years where he drove a log truck, a job he never thought of as work. After his retirement he loved helping his son-in-law on the farm during harvest time. He also enjoyed taking his horse for a drive around the country block, keeping a very neat lawn and yard, and tinkering in his shed. During his younger years he loved those Sunday afternoon Harley rides with Marlene and friends. He was a member of American Legion Post 28, Valders, and served as a head usher at Faith Lutheran Church and was on the cemetery committee for many years.
Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 58 years, Marlene. Daughters and sons-in-law; Deborah and Michael Goehring, and Gail and Mark McCulley of Clarks Mills. Six grandchildren; Travis Goehring (Kayla Meetz), Aliza and Adam Sabourin, Dayton Goehring (Hailee Jacobs), Trevor McCulley (Taylor Wagner), Austin and Brittany McCulley, Stetson McCulley (Lindsey Brennan). Four great grandchildren, Allison and Kace Goehring, Ryah Sabourin, Bennett McCulley, and baby Sabourin due in February.
He is also survived by two sisters; Joyce Wiegert, and Virginia Meyer, a brother-in-law; Daniel Meyer. Sisters-in-law; Margaret Evenson, Veronica Evenson, and Judy Evenson. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Marlyn, Gene, Donald, and Roger Evenson. Three sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Ted Jeske, Ruby and Bud Meyer, June Meyer, William Wiegert, and Robert Meyer. Also preceding him in death are his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Waldemar and Lavida Behnke, sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Carol and Greg Brehmer, along with several nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 11:00 am with visitation from 9:00 am until 10:45 am. Burial will follow at Valders West Cemetery with military rites.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to Faith Lutheran Church or the Lakeshore Humane Society.

Catherine A. Kolbeck, age 67, a Manitowoc resident passed away early Thursday morning, November 11, 2021 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
She was born on August, 29, 1954 daughter of the late Allen and Thelma (Skattebo) Cayemberg. Cathy graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1972. On April 08, 2017 she married Randy (Cubby) Kolbeck in Manitowoc. Cathy was employed as an engineering secretary at Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry until her retirement. She liked to spend time with the family, especially on vacation. Cathy loved to go up north to the cabin. Cathy enjoyed socializing with her friends at the local establishments. She was a wonderful and generous friend to all. Cathy never missed the opportunity to call her friends and family on special occasions. She was an avid packer, brewer and badger fan.
Survivors include: her husband; Cubby, Manitowoc, one son and daughter-in-law; Ryan and Season Haack, Manitowoc, two sisters and one brother; Carol Cayemberg, Knoxville, TN, Douglas Cayemberg, Manitowoc, Ann Cayemberg, Knoxville, TN, one brother-in-law; Mark Steeber, Kellnersville. One brother-in-law; Jeff and Joy Kolbeck, Manitowoc, two sisters-in-law; Christine and Doug Schmidt, Manitowoc, Carrie and Wally Wallander, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive.
Cathy was also Preceded in death by: one sister; Amy (Steeber) Cayemberg, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Thomas and Connie Kolbeck, one brother-in-law; Paul Kolbeck, her beloved dog; Peaches.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU staff at Froedtert Hospital and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their care and compassion shown towards Cathy and her Family.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, (1416 Grand Ave). The visitation will continue from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Monday November 15, 2021 at church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 15, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, (1416 Grand Ave). Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Ben Johnson with burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Susan Herman, 70, of Gillett passed away Friday November 5, 2021, at a local hospital.
Susan grew up in Watton, MI, graduated L’Anse High School in 1969. Then moved to Milwaukee when she was 18. Living in Detroit then Eau Claire before returning to the Upper Peninsula in the mid 90’s. Susan move to Gillett 4 years ago to be closer to her children and Grandchildren. Susan was a retired truck driver, who loved her children, grandchildren, western items, crocheting, and reading. If anyone was asked her favorite characteristics a sense of humor and a joy to be around would describe her perfectly.
Survived by her children Millie (Alfredo) Nuno, Jake (Katie) Herman, and sister Gloria (Leonard) Johnson, grandchildren Shyanne, Nicholas, Aidan, Donnie, and Audrey.
Preceded in death by her parents William and Ruth, son Tim Turner, sisters Sharon Burdick, and Sandy Vondell.
Per Susan’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Kuehl Funeral Home is honored to assist the family at this difficult time.
