Bennie Emil Schenkoski, age 86 of Gillett, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at his home. The son of the late Emil & Emlie (Schindel) Schenkoski was born September 25, 1929 in Oconto Falls. He married Florence Schutt on October 9, 1954 in Oconto. He worked for a number of years as a milk truck driver and later at a cheese factory. He spent his remaining years farming in the Town of Gillett. He was a member of St. Johns Riverside Lutheran Church. Besides working on his farm he enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his wife Florence, 3 sons; Pete (Chris) of Abrams, Allen (Jane) and Gary (Laura) both of Gillett,
Grandchildren: Dana (Doug) Wojcik, Stachia (Ryan) Desterheft , Clarisse (Ross) Klosterman, Jennifer (Phillip) Miller, Luke Schenkoski, Jeremy Schenkoski, Justin (Denae) Schenkoski, Ashley Schenkoski
Step grandchildren: Paige Dillenburg, Taylor Dillenburg, Tara Rasmussen
Great Grandchildren Alexis & Brennin Wojcik; Garrett & Calab Klosterman; Ava, Oliver, Bree and Clark Miller, Aurora Schenkoski and Rykr Schenkoski, one future great granddaughter

He was preceded in death by his son Gaylord Schenkoski, his parents, 3 brothers Rudy, Willie and Edward, 1 sister Tillie Yanke.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday at St. Johns Riverside Lutheran Church Rev. James Athey officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns Riverside Lutheran Cemetery

Louis Otto Winkler

December 19, 1926 – October 19, 2015

Louis Otto Winkler, age 88 of Town of Underhill (Gillett), passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Atrium PAC of Evergreen in Shawano, Wisconsin. The son of the late Otto and Clara (Schoenbeck) Winkler was born December 19, 1926 in Gillett. He graduated from Gillett High School in 1944. He married Joanne Marie Dittman on September 24, 1949 at Crist Lutheran Church in the Town of Underhill. She preceded him in death on December 4, 1991.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Finnegan Walleye Club, and Underhill Sportsman’s Club. Louie enjoyed many years as clerk of Town of Underhill and as supervisor on the Oconto County Board, especially the committee of Forest, Lands & Parks. A joy was making maple syrup with the guys in the woods; an even greater joy was fishing, which he did often.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
He is survived by 4 daughters Betty Joanne (Thomas) Edler of Cecil; Gloria Jean (William) Buchholz of Gillett; Jane Marie Winkler of Gillett; Becky Jo (Donald) Pockat of Gillett; 2 sons Jim Louis (Cindy Lou) of Gillett and Tommie Ervin (Diane) of Wisconsin Rapids

Loraine Dittman

May 14, 1933 – October 02, 2015

Loraine M. Dittman, 82, Appleton, WI died Friday, October 2, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. She was born May 14, 1933, in Colby, WI to the late Eugene and Flora Thistle.

Loraine was a 1950 graduate of Stratford High School, Stratford, WI. She earned her nursing diploma from Deaconess Hospital, Milwaukee, WI and furthered her education to become a nurse anesthetist. She practiced her profession for many years in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Loraine married Kenneth C. Dittman on May 26, 1962 in Waukegan, IL. Ken and Loraine retired to Ken’s family home in Gillett, WI. After Ken’s death in 2001 Loraine moved to Appleton, WI.
Loraine is survived by one sister, Yvonne TeKampe, Vesper, WI; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Dittman, Fond du Lac, WI and Dorothy Bonnin, Neenah, WI; brother-in-law, Lyle Maas, Appleton, WI; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ken on September 19, 2001; sisters, Caroline Rock, Stratford, WI; Jean Maas, Appleton, WI; and brothers-in-law, Sylvester Rock, Stratford, WI; William TeKampe, Vesper, WI; Lowell Bonnin, Neenah, WI; and Martin Dittman, Fond du Lac, WI.

Committal services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church cemetery, Hintz, WI on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:30 AM with Reverend Michael Paholke officiating. Lunch will follow in the church basement.
