Marion (Paulson) Erickson, 83, of Gillett died April 26, 2015. She was born on April 19, 1932 to the late Carl and Eleanor (Nass) Paulson. On February 16, 1952, Marion married the love of her life, Roger, and spent the next 62 years more than happily married. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2014. Marion was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marion took pride in helping her friends and family. She loved animals, above all her cats.

She is survived by her daughters: MaryAnn (Dan) Zelinski, Beverly (Howard) Tatro, Debra (Jeff) Westover; five grandchildren: Jason, Mandy, Mary (Matt), Christopher, Rachel; five great- grandchildren: Matthew, Hailey, Macy, Morgan, and Miley. She is further survived by four brothers: Bob (Bernice), Roger (Susie), Dale (Bonnie), John (Sally); five sisters: Jean Soper, Carol (Gary) Williamson, Sharon Trepanier, Susie (Arnie) Jeske, Theresa Paulson; Aunt, Ruth Nass; many nieces, nephews and many friends.

Preceding Marion in death are her parents, husband Roger, and brothers Norman and Steve.

Friends may call from 9 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Friday, May 1, 2015, at Bethel Lutheran Church until the 11:30 A.M. funeral service with Pastor Bill Gruenstern officiating . Internment will take place in Bethel Lutheran Cemetery.

Thomas J. Konczal

June 05, 1944 – April 20, 2015

Thomas J. Konczal, 70, of Gillett died on April 20, 2015. He was born on June 5, 1944 to the late Jerome and Rose (Baranski) in Chicago, IL. Thomas and Patricia (Biondo) were united in marriage on March 21, 1964 in Crown Point, IN. He worked for many years as an Auto Mechanic; he took pride in fixing anything that was broken. Thomas enjoyed taking long rides on his Harley motorcycle with his wife, traveling, and camping. He loved his dogs, especially Anna.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 51 years, Patricia; their children, Richard (Cary) Konczal, Janet (Mark) Habina, Ronald (Carol) Konczal, Michael Konczal; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Konczal; sister, Shirley Larus; nieces, nephews and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Kander.

Private family services will be held.

Kunkel, Marilyn M (Curtis), 83, Greenfield died August 14, 2015 with her daughters by her side. The daughter of the late Esther (Krause) and William Curtis, was born on November 3, 1931 in Gillett. Marilyn attended Gillett High School. Marilyn enjoyed doing the laundry, canning, gardening, baking, the outdoors, church and her grandkids. She was a member of the American Legion in Gillett. Her favorite song was “You are my Sunshine”.

She was preceded in death by her husband Archie, her daughter Marianne and brother Robert Curtis.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Rita) Kunkel Billings, MT, Sue (Tom) Fisher Green Bay and Karen Kunkel of Oak Creek. Grandchildren; Bryan, Maranda, Joshua, Elyse, Sarah and Andrea. Great-grandchildren; Brooke, Jaylen, Emelia, Titus, Hazel, Olivia, and Kendall. Further survived by sister-in-law Caroline Curtis, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call at St John’s Lutheran Church, Gillett, on Wednesday August 19, 2015 from 10AM – 11AM. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Pastor Harvey Jeffers officiating with a luncheon to follow. Interment will be at Wanderers Rest Cemetery, Gillett.

RIP Marilyn, you will be missed by all.

John “Buzzy” C Olsen

John “Buzzy” C Olsen

October 22, 1945 – April 04, 2015

John “Buzzy” C. Olsen, 69, Gillett, died on April 4, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at home. He was born on October 22, 1945 to John and Ruth (Dickson) Olsen in the Town of Lessor. John attended Gillett High School graduating in 1964. John and Mary (Westenberger) were united in marriage at St. John’s Catholic Church on October 25, 1963. She preceded him in death on January 10, 2015. John was a member of the Underhill town board serving as Supervisor for many years. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Hintz, firefighter for over 20 years serving as Chief at one time, and a Gillett JayCee. He enjoyed collecting and restoring old cars; he could get any engine running, fishing, and gardening; sharing his plentiful harvest with everyone. John liked spending time at the family cabin in Townsend. He enjoyed cutting firewood and making maple syrup in the family woods.

John is survived by his children: Lori (Rick) Martineau of Stevens Point; David Olsen of Gillett; Lisa (Bruce) Hanneman of Gillett; Richard (Kelly Weber) Olsen of Appleton; Kristen (Ahren) Telford of Suring; 6 grandchildren Jeffrey, Michael, Keith (Angel) Martineau, Kaytlyn Cassels-Hanneman, James and Jesse Telford; sisters: Barbara (Fred) Pahl, Beverly (Gene) Colangelo, Karmen Olsen. Also survived by sister-in-law Janet (Donald) Moser of Gillett; brother-in-law Guy Krueger of Mesa, Arizona; nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents; son, James John Olsen; sister, Joanie Krueger.

Visitation will be held at Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, on Wednesday April 2015 from 2 P.M. – 6 P.M.. Visitation will continue at 9A.M. until the 11A.M. Funeral Service, Thursday April 9, 2015 at Christ Lutheran Church in Hintz with Reverend Michael Paholke officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Hintz.

Anna M Holl

January 25, 1930 – April 09, 2015

Anna M. (Hansen) Holl, 85, Gillett, passed away suddenly on April 9, 2015, following a short illness. She was born January 25, 1930 to the late Vern and Hildegarde (Zenk) Hansen of Pulcifer. She attended school in Bonduel, worked at a bakery in Shawano and then at Grants in Green Bay until she married Isadore Holl on May 5, 1951.

She enjoyed reading, word-search puzzles, bingo, activities at Woodland Village of Gillett and spending time with her family. She was awaiting the birth of her second great-grandchild.

Ann is survived by her children Kathy Holl; Steven (Debi) Holl; James (Karla) Holl; 3 grandchildren: Kimberly, Aubriann and Brandon; 1 great-grandchild: Lucy; other relatives and many friends. She is further survived by her childhood friend Mavis Darling.

She was preceded by her parents, husband, Isadore; an infant daughter, Barbara; grandson, Joey Kline and her sister, Marion Hansen.

Friends may call Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, Monday, April 13, 2015 from 9:00A.M. until the 11:00A.M. Funeral Service at the funeral home with Pastor William Gruenstern officiating. Interment will be in St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Woodland Village in Gillett for the care they gave Ann during her later years as well as the doctors and nurses of HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls for their care during her final days.
