Waltraud “Trudy” Von Brevern

Waltraud “Trudy” von Brevern, 72, Gillett, went to be with the Lord Monday December 24th, 2012 at Maple Lane Nursing Home in Shawano. She was born on October 17, 1940 in Germany. Trudy is survived by her two sons and their spouses, Ralf (Teri), Gillett; Mark (Annette), Seymour; her two grandchildren, Eli von Brevern, Allison von Brevern. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday December 27th at Kuehl Funeral Home in Gillett, WI. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on December 27th with Pastor John Laatsch officiating. Burial will be at Wanderer’s Rest Cemetery in Gillett, WI. A luncheon will be held following the graveside service at the Assembly of God in Gillett. Loren Louis Begolke, 57, Gillett, passed away on December 18th, 2012 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Shawano. He was born on January 13th, 1955 in Oconto Falls, WI to the late Louis and Evelyn (Ladwig) Begolke. He proudly dedicated 33 years of service at The Oscar Boldt Company where he was a mechanic/ Supervisor of Heavy Equipment. He also served as a volunteer firefighter for the Town of Underhill. Loren was a member of the Finnegan Lake Walleye Club, and Underhill Sportsman Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and carpentry. He is survived by his wife Jackie (Ossmann) Begolke; two daughters, Autumn Paholke (Josh) and Michelle “Micki” Begolke; a sister, Carol Harke; mother and father in-law, Jack and Suzanne Ossmann; leaving behind several brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews; and very special friends Rick and Maureen Wollin. Preceding him in death are his mother, father, and a brother-in-law, Jim Harke. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday December 22nd at Christ Lutheran Church in Hintz, WI. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on December 22nd with Pastor Michael Paholke officiating. Burial will be at Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hintz, WI. Polly L. Bublitz, 98, Gillett, passed away on Monday evening, Dec. 10th, 2012, at Woodlands Nursing Home in Gillett. She is survived by two children Mary Peschka (Bob) Manitiwoc, and Bill Bublitz (Linda) Lena; three sisters Marge Frank, Barbara Bahr, and Beverly Gerritson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Alfred Bublitz; two infant sons; four sisters Alice Wells, Edith Winkler, Ester Ciscero, and Pat Reinke; and two brothers. Polly was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where she held many positions such as being a member of the ladies aide, and the quilt group. She enjoyed several hobbies which included sewing, knitting, cooking, and gardening. A memorial service will be held Saturday December 15th, 2012 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 101 W. Main St. in Gillett. Friends may call from 10 A.M. until 1 P.M. with the service beginning at 1 P.M. with Pastor Harvey Jeffers officiating. Norman A. Bergner, 96, W2619 Linquist Road, Cecil, passed away on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 at Woodlands Nursing Home in Gillett. He was born May 14th, 1916 in the Town of Green Valley to the late Otto Bergner and Frieda Bergner (Wolfgram). On October 19th, 1938 Norman married Evelyn Bergner (Reinke) in the Town of Green Valley. He was a member of Faith United Church in Gillett. While active in the church, Norman held many hats such as being an elder. Norman was also on the board of directors for the Green Valley Elevator Co-op. He enjoyed several hobbies such as playing cards and ice fishing. Norman was a farmer but was also very well known for his expertise in masonry. He is survived by two sons, Ronald Bergner (Gillett) and Chuck Bergner (Pulcifer); two daughter-in-laws, Barbara Bergner and Sharon Bergner; nine grandchildren, Patrick Bergner, Jeffery Bergner, Brian Bergner, Cheryl Bergner, Jason Bergner, Adam Bergner, Howard Bergner, Norman Bergner, and Betty Baumgarten; nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and close friends. Along with the survivors Norman also took care of many foster children. He is preceded in death by one son, Robert Bergner; one daughter, Janice Bergner; two brothers, Alfred and Lyman Bergner; two sisters, Bernice Stahlkopf and Geneva Zemke; two grandchildren Mathew and William Bergner; and a daughter-in-law, Jane Bergner. Friends may call from 9-11 A.M. Monday December 10th, 2012 at Faith United Church, Gillett. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M following visitation with Pastor John Laatsch officiating. Burial will be held at St. John’s Cemetery in Pulcifer. A luncheon will be held at the church at the conclusion of the service. Kuehl Funeral Home (920) 855-2144 will be serving the family.
